The Milies – Tsagarada is one of those paths crossing Mt Pelion, which usually start from the west side and end in one of the villages on the east side. This is one of the longest trails in Pelion, which follows one of the old mule tracks, which belonged to the network of paths interconnecting both sides of the mountain. This route connects the important rural core of the crowded Tsagarada with the also agricultural Milies, which morover had the role of transport center, thanks to the railway Milies-Volos. During the operation of this railway connection, the mountain road Milies-Tsagarada saw long caravans of mules transporting agricultural products from the settlements of Tsagarada to the station of Milies.

- The trail follows one of the old mule tracks, that belonged to the grid of the interconnection paths on both sides of the mountain. During the operation of this railway connection, the mountain road Milies -Tsagarada received large caravans of mules transporting agricultural products from Tsagarada to the station of Milea.
