The hiking route Milina – Lafkos follows the northernmost branch among the two cobbled paths, built in order to connect the main village of Lafkos with the old port of Milina. Regarding the two cobbled paths, both the northern and the southern were equally used in the past and remain well-maintained and established until today. The hike described here is the better maintained northern section with the fewest parts following a road. This hike is undeniably one of the most interesting routes of Southern Pelion since it offers beautiful views to the Pagasetic Gulf and runs through a typical Mediterranean landscape.

Tips
- The path has a quit smooth slope. Thus, this route is one of the friendliest hiking suggestions in South Pelion.
- The route can be combined with the southern section and – with a long break in Lafkos or Milina, depending on the starting point – can be a very nice loop trail for the whole family.
- There is water in the middle of the ascent, in the chapel of Panagia Messosporitisa.
Warnings
