Argalasti – Lefokastro

The connection between Argalasti and Lefokastro has always been of secondary importance for the communications and the economy of Argalasti, which had closer coastal outlets like Kalamos, Paou and Chorto. Thus the path to Lefokastro was the least busy of the old roads that stretched radially around Argalasti.

The route Argalasti-Lefokastro starts from the central square of Argalasti. Passing through the alleys of the settlement, we reach a downhill dirt road, which has stepped on the old cobbled pathway. The dirt road is no longer used, it is covered by dense vegetation and in places it turns into a path. After crossing the stream of Pneumatiko via a small bridge, we ascend to the ridge of Zavali, where we run through the olive groves.

We will enter a cobbled path and will cross the ravine of Rodia wit ha stone bridge. We climb slightly on the cobbled path, until we meet the central asphalt of Lefokastro to Miriovryrti. With a short path we reach the center of Lefokastro.
